I’ll have some more in depth thoughts about the finale of LOST later, because the show is significant to me and my life in like 10 different ways. SPOILER ALERT: I loved it. It was beautiful. In the meantime, here’s one of the coolest shots of the entire series, made slightly cooler.

I read about this a few days ago but I still can’t get over it. The worlds that come to mind after viewing this are silver-bullet and panacea. Nature will revive itself, but only if we give it room to breathe. Living in a densely populated area - such as Brooklyn, not even Manhattan - is what nature needs from us.
